Determined to make it his own, Jeff skillfully outmaneuvered the listing agent with her own buyer to emerge victorious, and the proud new owner of this home perfectly suited to him.

Weekends at the Farm

While Jeff and his family spend the majority of their time in Dupont Circle, there are also weekends spent at their Virginia countryside home, affectionately known as “the farm.” The gracious 32-acre estate in the heart of Virginia’s Piedmont Hunt Country dates back to the pre-Civil War era, and once was a wedding gift from Supreme Court Chief Justice John Marshall to his granddaughter upon her marriage in 1850. Here, the bustle of the city fades away and Jeff recharges with his family for the week to come. Adventures unfold, chickens are tended to, the pool is jumped in, and meals and holidays are shared with family and friends.

What Motivates Jeff

Jeff’s journey into the world of luxury real estate began early, riding down Massachusetts Avenue in the back seat of his parents’ car. His fascination with great architecture and craftsmanship outside the windows, ultimately led to a 30-year career. As Jeff says, he cares about what he does and he cares to do it well.
